We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join the Geniux team. In this role, you will architect and build robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications that power our innovative solutions. You’ll work in close collaboration with our front-end developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver reliable infrastructure and seamless user experiences.

🔍 Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs

• Build distributed services using Python, Node.js, or similar technologies

• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security

• Develop serverless architectures on AWS or other cloud platforms

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve backend performance and system health

• Contribute to architectural decisions and infrastructure improvements

✅ Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering

• Proficiency with Python, Node.js, or similar back-end technologies

• Experience building and maintaining distributed systems

• Familiarity with serverless computing and cloud architecture (AWS preferred)

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration

• Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git)

• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

➕ Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL)

• Knowledge of smart contract development (e.g., Solidity)

• Security-focused development experience

🎓 Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
